I am really a fan of boxing fights and this Mayweather vs. Ortiz this September 17, 2011, really raise my enthusiasm in boxing specially with Victor Ortiz as he returns from his previous defeat and now defending his gained WBC Welterweight Title versus the most controversial and undefeated former Olympic boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr. This is the greatest reason why I will watch Mayweather vs. Ortiz live online or offline (via TV coverage only - live or delayed. If you're here and want to watch the fight, then read on and take note of the fight schedule).

The young and vicious Ortiz will be trying to deliver the biggest upset in the life of Mayweather in front of thousands of live witness at the mecca of boxing in Las Vegas, the MGM Grand Garden Arena on 9/17/2011 which falls with the Mexican Independence week. His motivation is strong and his champion heart keeps him from aiming a reign that some greatest fighters have received with their career. Meanwhile, Mayweather's pressure is different. He is doing  this to maintain his name from the top. His undefeated record makes him believe that he is the greatest among all the boxers in the world. This is the reason why a lot of boxers out there wants to try her might. Among them are Manny Pacquiao, Amir Khan, Andre Berto, Miguel Cotto, etc.

However, his reluctance to fight some fighters such as Pacquiao and Cotto makes his wins and even his courage questionable. This changed! That's when he fight the much younger and much stronger southpaw champion, Victor Ortiz. It is a dangerous choice but Mayweather wants to prove something. The result is unknown and the only way to find out is to watch Mayweather vs. Ortiz via different websites that I know like: Telepisodes.net, Bleuken.com, Kentips.com and among others.

I will just update you later if what different links that you will need to use to watch Mayweather vs Ortiz live online with the fight highlights videos and pictures here at http://mayweather-ortiz-fight.blogspot.com/

Manny Pacquiao Thinks, Mayweather is Faster than Ortiz

In an interview with Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao during his world media tour for the upcoming Pacquiao vs. Marquez III, he said that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is much faster compared to the young and vicious Victor Ortiz. Despite the fact that he received several negative praises from the undisputed fighter, Floyd, Pacquiao still gives a fair assessment on what possible result will happen for this Mayweather vs Ortiz match.

It is still SPEED will be the factor that will great affect the result of the fight and Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s speed will be too much for the strength of Victor Ortiz. That's the point of Pacquiao on his statement. Aside from that, it is best that Floyd wins this match so that they can push the Pacquiao-Mayweather. If Floyd losses to this match, it will be the end of his career and I think Pacquiao will still accept his challenge despite his possible lost.

What do you think guys, is Pacquiao's analysis of the upcoming Mayweather vs. Ortiz fight is correct or not. If you agree or didn't agree then, state your feelings, comments or remarks about it below.

Mayweather vs. Oritz HBO 24/7 Episode 2 on September 3, 2011

After the family feud drama of the Mayweathers and Ortiz's family drama, what to expect from the 2nd episode of HBO 24/7 Mayweather vs Ortiz which is scheduled on September 3, 2011? Are we seeing the same quarrel from Floyd's camp? Well, maybe some of you are already tired of that but Ortiz story is new and this will surely give us light on what is happening behind his rise and fall and rise again of his career.

I was so impressed on how Ortiz managed to still pursue with his boxing dream despite the losses he got plus the different obstacles he is facing in his life. He is really a champion by heart. I also salute his trainers! Imagine they still give time to help Ortiz prepare for this big fight despite great obligations from their day job (one of the trainer is working in a softdrinks company driving daily for delivery.)

As for Mayweather, he is still the kind of fighter that is acting so 'diva' because of his undefeated record. That is his disadvantage here. He didn't ever felt in his boxing career the feeling of being lost. This is the reason that in case he is defeated on this match, he will surely can't describe the feeling. Of course he is not expecting the defeat because he is not accepting the possibilities.

Later, return here to watch Mayweather vs. Ortiz HBO 24/7 episode 2 and BOOKMARK this blog so that you will have an update on how to watch Mayweather vs. Ortiz online live on September 17, 2011.

Victor Ortiz Called Floyd Mayweather, an "Old Man..."

In an interview from BoxingScene.com, Victor Ortiz continues his counter trash talks against Floyd Mayweather Jr. and even called him an "old man." He also said that he will be the one that will end the old man's career and will surely make way for the birth of a new breed of fighter under the name of vicious Ortiz.

Here's the excerpt of his statement from BoxingScene.com:

"I don't care what he brings. He's done. He was done when he signed to fight Victor Ortiz. Everything will be told September 17 when a man's career ends and another man's career begins. I will bring a cane for the old man so his back won't hurt too much."

... "Floyd is a good fighter but I've always thought he wasn't great. I'm not impressed and I'm not going to hold any respect like his 41 victims. Those fighters he fought, none of them were me. Somebody is in trouble. It's not what I think I can do. It's what I know I can do."

Well this looks interesting. At first, I thought Ortiz will not ever got a chance with the undefeated Mayweather so I did a little research and check his previous fights. The only video that I watched was his fight against Maidana when I left a remark on this blog that he can't win this match but this change a lot when I saw him fight, Andre Berto. His performance is really amazing and you can see in his eyes and his vicious attacks the hunger to win which even made Berto to rattle and eventually lost on their fight. I hope this hunger will be present on the Mayweather vs. Ortiz fight.

I am wondering right now if what is the reaction of the "trash talk" king money Mayweather!

Will Floyd Mayweather Will Be Over Weight Again on Mayweather vs Ortiz Fight?

There's a question right now raised if Floyd Mayweather Jr. will be over weight again on the Mayweather vs. Ortiz fight this coming September 17, 2011. Such suspicion is raise due to the fact that "money" May did this overweight with penalty stuff during his fight against Juan Manuel Marquez when he first return from his first retirement. He was overweight of 2 pounds and cost him almost $600K penalty but gain him a tremendous advantage against a small opponent like Marquez.

In his upcoming fight with Ortiz, there's always a possibility that part of his strategy will be by over-weighting again. But of course this is just a "suspicion" and doesn't have any real basis or whatsoever. I think he can follow the allowable welterweight limit this time and avoid unnecessary penalties plus unnecessary feedback from his haters.

Oh well, it will be a tough fight for Mayweather but as I have predicted on my previous post, in the end the undefeated will still be the undisputed undefeated welterweight fighter of the world and it takes more than a southpaw like Ortiz to take him down.

Mayweather vs. Ortiz Fight Prediction - Who Will Win?

I decided to watch the previous fight of Victor Ortiz against Marcos Rene Maidana before I made this post so that I could assess properly the match and make a prediction that is quite close to the possible result. You can watch it below too so that you have an idea on what I am talking about.

Based on his performance and style of Ortiz against Maidana, I believe that he will probably lost this event and will surely loose his WBC Welterweight title to Floyd Mayweather Jr. on the later rounds of the match. Why? If he will continue with his vicious offenses which lacks defense, he will surely meet 'fatique' cause by the 'running' and solid defense of Floyd. He might land some couple of punches to Floyd but it will be not enough to take on the undefeated pound for pound boxer. He will then receive some beating on the 7th and up then might eventually get KOed before the 12th ring of the bell.

Ortiz needs to improve his defenses and avoid the counter punches of Floyd to survive the 12 round match and possible defend his crown successfully but Mayweather will be a hard shell to crack and requires more than "vicious" brawl to break.

What we can do is to watch Ortiz vs. Maidana this September 17, 2011 to really find out what will happen with the defending champion.

Who Will Win Between Mayweather and Ortiz?

I guess almost everyone here got their own prediction about the possible result of the Mayweather vs. Ortiz world welterweight championship fight and as part of gathering data about the opinions of the people about the fight result, I made a poll survey about it which you can send your vote via the right sidebar of this blog.

For my personal view regarding this fight, I guess it will still be Floyd Mayweather Jr. He got a stone wall defense that its difficult for Ortiz to crack. The latter just can't get through that defense and he will probably receive some beating from the undefeated fighter. Aside from that people are waiting for Floyd to win this match so that he can prepare to fight Pacquiao on his next fight if in case he will not retire again and dock the match once more.

However, Victor Ortiz can still have the chance to win this match if in case he can keep up to exchange blows against Floyd up to the later rounds. If he can't then there's a big chance that he will be knocked out on the 8th or 9th.

What do you think, who will win on Mayweather vs. Fight on September 17? Cast your vote now!

Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Victor Ortiz Greatest Fights

Prior to the big fight night of Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Victor Ortiz on September 17, 2011, you might want to watch the great fights of the two boxers and to compare their styles and fighting skills inside the ring.

Let us start with the fights of the undefeated welterweight and pound for pound king, Floyd Mayweather Jr. starting from Mayweather vs. Hernandez to Mayweather vs. Marquez.

The next video shows the greatest fights of the vicious Ortiz beginning from his fight against Carlos Maussa.

By watching the video, I see how really vicious is Ortiz and the fight between these will be very explosive. Aside from this I also want an Ortiz vs. Maidana rematch. I think he deserves another fight to recover from that big lost.

Now what will be the appearance of the Mayweather vs. Ortiz fight well I think Ortiz will really strong punches to Mayweather and it will be an exciting exchange of counter punches. I am thinking right now if it still possible for Mayweather vs. Marquez after this because there's a possibility that Floyd can be defeated on this match-up. His opponent got a ferocious southpaw that might deliver a blazing end for him. I am really excited now.

By the way, later I will create a Mayweather-Ortiz poll / survey here so that you can cast your votes if who do you feel will win from this boxing event. Later guys!

Welcome to Mayweather vs. Ortiz Fan Site Blog!

Hi everyone! If you happened to drop by here while looking for website to find a detailed information about the updates of the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Victor Ortiz Welterweight Championship fight event then bookmark this website already because I as a boxing fan will try to share to you the best information that you need about the highly anticipated fight of the year.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is known to be the most watched undefeated pound for pound fighter. He is kinda popular because of his controversial remarks against his opponents. His professional boxing record actually stands to what he says but of course some of the boxing enthusiasts around the world hate this kind of attitude. Maybe this is the reason why they want to watch him fight because some of them wants him to be defeated which is quite difficult to happen.

Meanwhile, Victor Ortiz is 10 years younger than Mayweather and known with his nickname as "Vicious." This is despite his two losses, he still got what it takes to beat high profile boxers. Some of the known names that was victimized by the vicious southpaw were Nate Campbell and recently Andre Berto.

This is the reason why, Mayweather vs. Ortiz is a must watch boxing event of 2011. The winner is unknown and it is everyone's ball. If Ortiz wins, we can expect for a Mayweather vs. Ortiz rematch but if Mayweather wins, I'll be waiting for Pacquiao vs. Mayweather which other people see as impossible to happen. Why? Well its another long story but I will try to talk about it later. For the meantime, welcome to my Mayweather vs. Ortiz fan site!
